🇮🇹 Learning a Foreign Language in My 40s 🇮🇹

You're never too old to try new things

That's what I reminded myself on the first day of my (virtual) Italian class. Has it been easy? No. But I don't know that it's been any harder learning Italian in my 40s than it was learning Spanish in my teens. I will say that knowing (some) Spanish has been helpful because a lot of the vocabulary words share similar stems. It's also been fun to challenge my brain in a new and different way and since my class has no actual exams, it's been a pretty stress-free experience!
